We are a small occupancy Inn located in Elizabeth City’s largest antebellum style home called the Richardson Pool Glover House C.1856.
The Inn is walking distance that all that downtown Elizabeth City has to offer. Situated one hour from Hampton Roads & one hour from the Outer Banks. You will experience small town southern charm at its finest.
We are 5 blocks from the river, walking distance to many restaurants; Palin’s Alley, Ghost Harbor Brewery, & 2 Souls Wine Bar. Come enjoy the charm our small town has while you soak up some history in our comfy guest rooms with full en-suite.
Linger with us in a piece of history. All of our rooms are large in size, with plush king sized beds, and en- suite bathrooms. Guests have full access to the yellow parlor and front porch for relaxing.
We provide a full coffee and tea bar for all day use, plus a rotating breakfast snack bar. We also provide a full list of highly recommended restaurants for the perfect local experience.

This area is immense in history from civil war relics ( like our Inn) , the Wright Brothers and other aviation themed history, to WWII involvement you'll find something to explore.
Take a walk through Palin's Alley, which was once the cities horse stables, that has now been converted a spot to gather for music, fine meals, and drinks.
We are well situated being only a hour from the Outer Banks and an hour from Hampton Roads. Whether you stay and explore the town or venture out there is always something to do.
